Lager Fest is Back!
Get ready for a special Northeast Ohio beer event! Join us on Sunday, August 2, from Noon to 4PM as more than 20 Ohio craft breweries take over Akronym Brewing’s outdoor Biergarten, each pouring what they believe is their best lager. At the end of the day, only one brewery will earn the title of Best Lager and take home this year’s trophy.
But the beer is just the beginning.
Every Lager Fest ticket also enters you into a raffle to win an unforgettable Brew Day Experience with Akronym Brewing’s award-winning Brewmaster, Shawn Adams. Spend the day brewing alongside Shawn and get a behind-the-scenes look at how our beers are crafted.

Akronym Brewing is extremely excited to bring back Lager Fest to Northeast Ohio. An official Cleveland Beer Week event, who mentioned that lager is even the style of beer that built Cleveland’s brewing legacy. Plus, if you know Akronym’s Brewmaster, Shawn, you’d know that we have a passion for Lagers, and we do them well. Even more so, our Frontline Czech Amber Lager JUST won Gold in the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship in the category California Common Beer.

Presale tickets are $45. Our Biergarten is located at 11 S. Main Street downtown and is accessible from the lowest level of the same city parking deck our brewery is in. Weekend parking is free! This event is for ages 21 and older. DD’s who will not be enjoying beer, but want to join the party are absolutely welcome! ($5 DD Tickets) Presale pricing ends the week-of, so purchase your tickets before then for a $5 discount! This event is wheelchair accessible. Tickets will be available for sale at the door.
