1. The Test Batch (TTB) – The first beer brewed at Akronym was made with Pilsner malt, Ohio spelt, and wheat. It is a Trappist Single with notes of bubble gum, clove, and black pepper. You’ll enjoy this easy-drinking blonde ale! ABV 4.5% IBU 20 $2/3/5

2. Kernel of Truth – An American lager busting with flavor. Brewed with corn and Lemondrop hops, this beer is approachable and refreshing, perfect for patio weather. ABV 5.2% IBU 15 $2/3/5.25 ***2018 Ohio Craft Brewers Cup Silver Medal***

3. High Street Wheat with Cherries – We took our wheat beer and added 88 lbs of Oregon tart cherries for a refreshing flavor you’ll love to enjoy on warm summer days. ABV 5.5% IBU 15 $2.5/3/5.5

4. Pattie with Coffee – We’ve added Brazilian coffee, from our neighbors at Akron Coffee Roasters, giving Pattie, our Irish Stout, roasty notes of hazelnut, dark chocolate, and Brazil nuts, with a smooth creamy finish from our Nitro tap. ABV 5.8% IBU 40 $2.5/3/6

5. Henry IPA – A New England IPA double dry-hopped with Citra, Comet, and Simcoe hops. This aromatic beer is dank with flavors of mango, orange, and apricot. Henry is named for the son of one of Akronym’s founders. ABV 6.0% IBU 50 $3/4/6.5

6. Floatin’ on the Freshies – Our latest collaboration with The Butcher and the Brewer is an all-Ohio pale ale. We used 40 lbs of fresh cascade hops from Barn Talk Hops in Medina and Ohio grown and malted barley from West Branch Malts in Brunswick. Local, fresh, awesome! ABV 6.3% ABV IBU 60 $3/4/6.5

7. Fest Bier – Our Oktoberfest-style beer was made entirely with German malts and hops together with our house lager yeast strain. You’ll find the light, sweet bready malt character is balanced by the soft floral hops. Prost! ABV 6.3% IBU 25 $2/3/6

8. Trés Saison – Our take on one of our favorite beer styles was made with three malts and three hops. It’s a farmhouse ale with hints of lemon and black pepper. The hybrid yeast strain makes it dry and drinkable. ABV 6.9% IBU 39 $3/4/6.5 ***2018 King of Ohio 2nd Place***

9. Proving Ground – Our first offering in this new series of beers, named in honor of our local Goodyear Test Track, is a New England IPA. We used local West Branch pilsner malt and our house Belgian yeast strain, then double dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic to bring you tropical fruit notes of guava and papaya with a soft, creamy finish. We hope you enjoy our first batch in this series as we continue to experiment with new ingredients and processes! ABV 7.5% IBU 50 $3/4/6.5

10. Trippin’ Amber Biere de Mars – Sometimes you start out making one beer and you end up with something even better. Our fresh Biere de Mars is a Belgian beer with a rich amber color and hints of candy sugar, caramel, and stone fruit. Its light, lingering sweetness balances the hop and yeast characteristics. ABV 8% IBU 25 $3/5/7.5

11. Hoppy Holidays – This American strong ale was brewed with juniper berries and dry hopped with Chinook and Northern Brewer for a distinct winter flavor. There are notes of pine and mint with a sweet malty finish. ABV 8% ABV IBU 45 $3/4.5/6.5

12. Quaker Double IPA – We doubled the amount of oats and hops in this Double New England-style IPA. You’ll taste notes of berries and citrus from the double dry hop. Enjoy the ridiculous amount of Citra, Comet, and Mosaic hops in this one. ABV 8.1% IBU 60 $3/5/8

13. Windigo – Named for an Algonquin dark apparition from the Great Lakes Region, our Double Red IPA is classically American – we went big with this over-the-top malt and hop monster. It was brewed with over 4 lbs. per barrel of Chinook, Simcoe, Columbus, and Denali hops. Beware, this one is dangerously drinkable! ABV 8.2% IBU 90 $3/5/8 ***2018 Ohio Craft Brewers Cup Silver Medal***

14. Spicer St. Christmas Ale – Our traditional Christmas ale was brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey. Its rich caramel color and balance of spices and sweetness will help you welcome the most festive of seasons. Celebrate the holidays with us! 9% ABV and IBU 40 $3/4.5/6.5

15. Barrel Aged Trippin’ Amber Biere de Mars –Our Biere de Mars is a Belgian beer with a rich amber color and hints of candy sugar, caramel, and stone fruit. Its light, lingering sweetness balances the hop and yeast characteristics. Now, fast-forward 6 months of aging in ‘Heaven Hill’ bourbon barrels, giving you added aromas and flavors of bourbon, oak, and vanilla. ABV 9% IBU 25 $4/6/8

All beers are available for sale in 750 ml, 32 oz, 64 oz growlers, and 32 oz crowler cans. High gravity beers (8% and up), all IPA’s, and Tres Saison fills are $9, $11, and $22 respectively; all other beer fills are $6.50, $8, and $16. Growlers are $5 each and are not in the cost of the fill(s).
