1. The Test Batch (TTB) – The first beer brewed at Akronym was made with Pilsner malt, Ohio spelt, and wheat. It is a Trappist Single with notes of bubble gum, clove, and black pepper. You’ll enjoy this easy-drinking blonde ale! ABV 4.5% IBU 20 $2/3/5

2. Kernel of Truth – An American lager busting with flavor. Brewed with corn and Lemondrop hops, this beer is approachable and refreshing, perfect for patio weather. ABV 5.2% IBU 15 $2/3/5.25 ***2018 Ohio Craft Brewers Cup Silver Medal***

3. High Street Wheat with Cherries – We took our wheat beer and added 88 lbs of Oregon tart cherries for a refreshing flavor you’ll love to enjoy on warm summer days. ABV 5.5% IBU 15 $2.5/3/5.5

4. Henry IPA – A New England IPA double dry-hopped with Citra, Comet, and Simcoe hops. This aromatic beer is dank with flavors of mango, orange, and apricot. Henry is named for the son of one of Akronym’s founders. ABV 6.0% IBU 50 $3/4/6.5

5. Brutal Winter IPA – This collaboration with Mike from Fatheads and Larry from SAAZ (Homebrew Club) was brewed entirely with German hops to create a wine-like Brut IPA. You will find light citrus notes and lots of effervescence in this crystal clear, bone-dry beer. This truly is the champagne of beers! ABV 6.3%  IBU 39 $3/4/6.5 

6. Trés Saison – Our take on one of our favorite beer styles was made with three malts and three hops. It’s a farmhouse ale with hints of lemon and black pepper. The hybrid yeast strain makes it dry and drinkable. ABV 6.9% IBU 39 $3/4/6.5 ***2018 King of Ohio 2nd Place***

7. Letchworth IPA – This West Coast IPA was brewed with Simcoe, Columbus, and Chinook hops. It has a nice bitterness that doesn’t linger but leaves you with hints of malt and citrus. Dear friends Larry and Donna are the inspiration for the name of this beer. ABV 7% IBU 70 $3/4/6.5 

8. A Stout Winter is Coming – We took our tropical stout base and infused it with Madagascar vanilla beans, cacao nibs, and Interrobang expresso blend coffee from our friends at Akron Coffee Roasters. You will find notes of dark chocolate, caramel, roasted coffee and a rounded sweetness from the vanilla beans. Enjoy now because Winter is Coming! ABV 7.3 IBU 30  $3/4/6.5   

9. Proving Ground – Our first offering in this new series of beers, named in honor of our local Goodyear Test Track, is a New England IPA. We used local West Branch pilsner malt and our house Belgian yeast strain, then double dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic to bring you tropical fruit notes of guava and papaya with a soft, creamy finish. We hope you enjoy our first batch in this series as we continue to experiment with new ingredients and processes! ABV 7.5% IBU 50 $3/4/6.5

10. Resilience IPA – Our collaboration with Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Magic City Brewing Company to raise money for the victims of the camp fire in Butte County California. Special thanks to YCH, Country Malt Group and West Branch Malt for their ingredient donations. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the victims of this devastating fire.  ABV 7.5 % IBU 65  $2/3/5 

11. Hoppy Holidays – This American strong ale was brewed with juniper berries and dry hopped with Chinook and Northern Brewer for a distinct winter flavor. There are notes of pine and mint with a sweet malty finish. ABV 8% ABV IBU 45 $3/4.5/6.5

12. Quaker Double IPA – We doubled the amount of oats and hops in this Double New England-style IPA. You’ll taste notes of berries and citrus from the double dry hop. Enjoy the ridiculous amount of Citra, Comet, and Mosaic hops in this one. ABV 8.1% IBU 60 $3/5/8

13. Spicer St. Christmas Ale – Our traditional Christmas ale was brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey. Its rich caramel color and balance of spices and sweetness will help you welcome the most festive of seasons. Celebrate the holidays with us! 9% ABV and IBU 40 $3/4.5/6.5

14. Barrel Aged Trippin’ Amber Biere de Mars –Our Biere de Mars is a Belgian beer with a rich amber color and hints of candy sugar, caramel, and stone fruit. Its light, lingering sweetness balances the hop and yeast characteristics. Now, fast-forward 6 months of aging in ‘Heaven Hill’ bourbon barrels, giving you added aromas and flavors of bourbon, oak, and vanilla. ABV 9% IBU 25 $4/6/8

All beers are available for sale in 750 ml, 32 oz, 64 oz growlers, and 32 oz crowler cans. High gravity beers (8% and up), all IPA’s, and Tres Saison fills are $9, $11, and $22 respectively; all other beer fills are $6.50, $8, and $16. Growlers are $5 each and are not in the cost of the fill(s).
