Akronym Brewing is bringing back Oktoberfest in the Biergarten, this year partnering up with their Akron sister-brewery, Lock 15 Brewing!
Oktoberfest on Main Street!
Get ready to raise a stein and celebrate the season at Oktoberfest on Main Street! Join us on Saturday, October 3rd from noon to 5PM at 11 S. Main Street in the Biergarten for an afternoon packed with craft beer, live music, great food, games, contests, and plenty of Oktoberfest fun.
Presented by Akronym and Lock 15 Brewing, this is a free, non-ticketed event, with free parking in the city parking deck, so there’s no admission fee and no reason not to join us!
Beer, Food & Good Times
Grab your friends and settle in for an afternoon in the Biergarten with a selection of craft beer available for purchase by the ticket. And when you work up an appetite, Lock 15 will be cooking up some awesome food to keep you fueled for the festivities. The food menu will be announced soon!
Live Music & Oktoberfest Games
What’s Oktoberfest without a little friendly competition? We’ll have traditional Oktoberfest games and contests throughout the afternoon, including:

- 🍺 Steinholding
- 🛢️ Keg Toss
- 🏆 Best Dressed
- And more!
Think you’ve got what it takes to hold a full stein the longest? Steinholding will take place during multiple time slots throughout the afternoon, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to step up, compete, and show off their strength.
And don’t forget to dress the part! Pull out your lederhosen, dirndls, and best Oktoberfest gear because we’ll be awarding a prize for Best Dressed.
Let the Festivities Begin!
We’ll kick off the celebration with a welcoming ceremony at noon, led by Akronym Brewmaster Shawn Adams. Then the live music will start, the beer will be poured, good times will roll and games and prizes will happen throughout the whole thing. We’re going to have some fun!
